For the past 20 years I’ve relentlessly traveled the globe to work with, learn from and teach the world’s most exceptional performers. From Olympic athletes and extreme sports professionals, to best-selling authors, serial entrepreneurs, first responders and creative masterminds. Personally and professionally, I’ve made a life of pursuing and performing at the extremes.
What I’ve learned from my work with such a diverse group of people is that the intensity and challenge that you feel when you’re pushed to your edge has no correlation whatsoever with the size of your comfort zone.
What I mean is this: it doesn’t matter if you’re an Olympic athlete or a student preparing to give a presentation. A cutting-edge neuroscientist or a corporate team leader who gets nervous in meetings. If you’re at your personal edge, it’s going to be intense.
And to perform your best, to succeed when the task seems overwhelming, you need a very specific set of skills.
I’ve spent my career understanding those skills, built upon evidence-based research and personally tested under fire at the extremes of human experience. What I’ve discovered – and what research shows – is that traditional approaches are flawed, and in order to succeed we need to adopt a new understanding and build a new toolbox.
My mission is to teach you this new way of thinking. To help you succeed in the face of challenging thoughts, stressful environments and high-pressure situations – wherever they may exist for you.
Let’s get started.
