Today was the day. All the variables fell into place, and for the first time since my injury, I went for a run.
Here’s a quick video update regarding the experience.

After today’s testing of the waters, I headed to the gym for some more cardio work. While in the locker room, one of the trainers asked me, out of the blue, “are you a runner?”
After a brief pause, and realizing that nobody has ever asked me that, I turned to him and gave a clear, confident, heartfelt yes.
There’s a long way to go yet, but I’m going to assure that I enjoy every step of my return to the sport and lifestyle.

Sick! Just got a brand-new Pearl and I can now read your blog on my phone’s browser, it didn’t operate on my aged 1.
